An Enterprise-ing 30th Birthday Cupcake

My husband is turning the big 3-0 in a couple days. So, to make it extra special event, yesterday, we had a Star Trek themed party-complete with costumes, themed drinks, 'replicated' BBQ, and an Enterprise-ing 30th Birthday Cupcake!

His absolute favorite cupcakes are Hazelnut Crème Brûlée Cupcakes with Hazelnut Buttercream Frosting topped with Caramelized Sugar Topping. Hop over to this post for the high altitude recipe.

Naturally, I had to take these out-of-this-world cupcakes and wrap them in the NCC 1701. The wrappers were made by my very good friend with a silhouette cameo. They are pure awesome and I just may have to buy a machine of my own to make more creations.

What you may also notice is that the cupcakes are on a different countertop than before. We had a beautiful golden crystal granite installed just before the party. I am in love. I'm pretty sure we are going to stay in this house for many years to come so we can fully enjoy them.

No Star Trek Party is complete without themed drinks. The Romulan Ale (blue) is very potent and frankly not very good, but the Klingon Blood Wine was so amazing that I'd like to share.
